Following one of the main objectives of GREEN C PORTS project: Monitor emissions from ports and vessels; our multispectral camera has successfully been put into operation once again in the Port of Valencia.
The camera provided by SENSIA keeps on recording and tracking greenhouse gases (GHGs) in order to accelerate the final target of improving air quality and measuring real-time emissions along multimodal transport chains.
Some adjustments and improvements have been made by our team, who is working intensively on the data recording for the Port Environmental Performance (PEP) Platform.
This constitutes a major step forward for the achievement of the overall project. We are getting closer to providing an adequate set of digitisation tools and technologies to support the environmental sustainability of ports and the performance of port operations in the TEN-T core network.
